Using Shape, you can save time completing your daily shift reports by using previous shift reports as a template. Large amounts of information in shift reports may stay consistent between shifts and with a pre-filled shift report, you can focus on just making the alterations relevant to the current report.
There are two ways to start with a previous report:
Pre-fill from previous
When you first create a new shift report, you will see a button titled Pre-fill from previous. It can
be found just below the Publish and Preview buttons in the top-right of the screen as shown below:
When you click this button, your report will be populated with the data from your most recent published shift report.
Note: When you use Pre-fill from previous, the current contents of your report will be overwritten so it's best to use it when you have a new report.
Duplicate
You can also use the duplicate feature to use any published shift report as the starting point for a new report. To do this, find the relevant shift report in the Published shift reports tab, then click the duplicate icon. This will create a new report and take you straight to it.
