How to Export Issues from Shape's Issue Tracker

This guide shows you how to export issues from the Issue Tracker in Shape. Whether you need to export a single issue for documentation or a group of issues for reporting, follow the steps below to generate exports in the format you need.

Exporting a Single Issue

Use this method when you need a detailed PDF of a specific issue.

  1. Open the Issue

    • Navigate to the issue you want to export.

  2. Click the Export Icon

    • Find the Export icon in the top-right corner of the issue page.

  3. Select Fields to Include

    • A prompt will ask which fields you’d like to include. Select the ones relevant to your report.

  4. Submit and Download

    • Click Submit to generate the PDF.

    • The file will be automatically downloaded to your device.

Exporting Multiple Issues

To create a report of several issues, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Issue List

    • Navigate to the full list of issues for your project.

  2. Click Export

    • Use the Export button in the top-right of the issue list.
